Mask Policy Update

A message from the First Presbyterian Church of Conroe:

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has rescinded his mask mandate and is opening businesses 100%. He is however encouraging all Texans to continue wearing masks as appropriate. We are happy for the many businesses who can now resume normal operations. While the number of cases is decreasing, we are not out of the woods completely.

As a church community, we are concerned for the health and well-being of each other. Until the vaccine distribution is widespread and “herd immunity” becomes more prevalent, there are a number of our friends and members who are still susceptible and at-risk. We  want to be supportive of them.

Consistent with Jesus’ teaching of “love your neighbor as yourself”, we are maintaining all of our precautions in place for the foreseeable future and our COVID Policy and practices shall still be followed. We ask that you exercise caution in public or when you are in crowded situations, and be considerate of those at risk. We want everyone to remain healthy.

Thank you.
