Abner Carabello Tenor Performance
Puerto Rican tenor Abner Caraballo is a passionate and versatile artist whose performances bridge the worlds of opera, classical crossover, and popular music. Praised for his expressive interpretations and warm lyrical tone, he has appeared with the Fundación Zarzuela y Operetta de Puerto Rico, Savannah Voice Festival, and Ponce Lírico, where he performed the role of Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore. His operatic credits also include Don Basilio and Don Curzio in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro.
Abner was awarded the Grand Prize at the Vivaldi International Music Competition 2025 and has participated in numerous international training programs and masterclasses with renowned artists including Guillermo Armada, Sherrill Milnes, Mignon Dunn, Jane Steele, Jorge Parodi, Stella Zambalis, William Woodruff, Caren Levine, and Antonio Barasorda. Recent engagements include recitals featuring the songs of Paolo Tosti and performances throughout Texas and Puerto Rico.
A graduate of the University of Puerto Rico with additional studies at the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music, Abner is currently based in Texas, where he continues to perform and inspire audiences through his artistry and dedication to music.
